Seeking a mid-senior level associate to join a national Technology Transactions Group focused on information technology and intellectual property commercial work. The role involves structuring, drafting, and negotiating license, service, development, distribution, and partnering agreements, and supporting IP aspects of M&A, public offerings, financings and other cross-disciplinary matters.

This is an opportunity for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial attorney who wants to work with technology companies at all stages of growth as part of an established, growing practice. The group values collaboration and experience supervising and training more junior lawyers.

Preference for placement in the Palo Alto office; candidates with strong interest in IP and commercial transactions for technology clients are encouraged to apply.

7+ years' post-qualification experience in technology/IP transactions.
Experienced in drafting and negotiating IP-related commercial agreements (licenses, services, development, distribution, partnering).
Familiarity with IP issues in M&A, public offerings and financings preferred.
Strong academic record, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work on and lead national teams.
Technical or scientific background beneficial but not required.
