Apply in confidence →Join a leading international firm’s Environmental & Sanctions team in London, advising on UK and EU trade and sanctions matters across corporate, finance and real estate workstreams. The role involves providing practical sanctions and export-control advice, supporting transactional diligence and documentation, and advising on related regulatory issues such as anti-bribery, AML/CTF and foreign investment screening.
The post offers regular client-facing responsibility, project management of regulatory workstreams on transactions, and contribution to business development and team knowledge-sharing. Hybrid working is supported with an expectation of substantial office presence.
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 2–5 PQE.
- Demonstrable experience advising on sanctions and export controls; experience supporting M&A or other transactions is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of sanctions, trade law and related regulatory frameworks (AML/CTF, anti-bribery, FDI desirable).
- Excellent legal research, drafting and client-facing skills; organised, commercially minded and able to manage multiple deadlines.
