The role sits in the Riverside office and combines representation before administrative agencies with advisory work on federal and California workplace law.
Typical matters include handling NLRB unfair labor practice charges and elections, advising on union organizing and corporate campaigns, negotiating and advising on collective bargaining agreements, and representing management in grievance, arbitration and injunction proceedings. The role also provides counseling on wage-and-hour, leave and accommodation issues, handbook and policy reviews, and management training.
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- 4–6 years post-qualification litigation or advisory experience; traditional labor experience preferred
- Active California bar admission
- Experience with NLRB practice, collective bargaining and arbitration
- Knowledge of federal and California wage-and-hour and leave laws
- Strong drafting, oral advocacy and project-management skills; attention to detail
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required; role may require regular business travel
