Growing employer-side labor & employment team seeks a mid-level associate to handle traditional labor relations and related advice across California and federal matters. The role focuses on representing management before the NLRB, advising on union organizing and collective bargaining, handling grievance and arbitration proceedings, and supporting employer responses to union campaigns.

Day-to-day work includes research and drafting, counseling on federal and California workplace laws (including wage-and-hour, leave and accommodation issues), reviewing handbooks and compensation plans, conducting management training, and occasional due diligence in connection with transactions. The role is hybrid and may require regular business travel.

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the CA bar
  • 4–6 years of litigation or advice experience with employer-side labor & employment matters
  • Experience with traditional labor relations and representing employers before the NLRB preferred
  • Experience advising on federal and California workplace laws; strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization and project management; management training experience a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
