Join a national law firm’s Transportation practice in New York as a litigation associate focused on insurance defense for the trucking and freight sectors. The team handles a full range of transportation-related litigation matters involving heavy trucks, cargo carriers, brokers and related industry participants.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery, preparing and briefing motions, taking and defending depositions, and participating in trial preparation. The role suits a self-starting litigator comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced practice.

• Admission to the New York bar.
• 1–15 years’ experience in insurance defense, preferably with trucking/transportation matters (tractor-trailer, cargo/freight, carriers).

• Proven litigation skills: drafting pleadings and discovery, motion practice, depositions, strong legal writing and analysis.
