2027 Charlotte Asset and Corporate Finance First Year Associate

Our firm is seeking a highly motivated first-year associate to join our Finance and Banking practice in Charlotte, focusing on asset-based and corporate finance matters. This role will involve representing lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, asset-based loans, and acquisition financings. Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and a demonstrated interest in private equity, private credit, commercial lending, and mezzanine finance. Prior exposure to loan workouts or restructurings is preferred but not required.

• First-year associate (Class of 2027) or equivalent experience
• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
• Demonstrated interest in asset-based finance, corporate finance, or related transactional matters
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Admission to the North Carolina Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly (preferred)
