Seeking an associate to join a national finance and restructuring practice focused on commercial real estate finance. The role is open in multiple U.S. offices with a strong preference for North Carolina-based candidates (Charlotte or Winston-Salem preferred).

The position involves documenting, negotiating, closing and conducting due diligence on secured and unsecured credit facilities and loan transactions, and managing large commercial lending matters from inception through closing and post-closing.

Candidates should be committed to high-quality client service, work collaboratively with deal teams, and be immediately licensable to practice law in North Carolina.

3–5 years of finance or commercial lending experience; commercial real estate finance experience preferred
Proven track record documenting, negotiating and closing commercial loan facilities and conducting diligence
Strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
Licensed or immediately eligible for licensure to practice in North Carolina
