Growing Financial Services team seeks a mid-level associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice in North Carolina. The role is open to candidates for the firm’s North Carolina offices, with preference for Charlotte or Raleigh.

The position involves documenting, negotiating and closing commercial and corporate lending transactions, managing matters from diligence through post-closing, and advising on secured and unsecured credit facilities. Experience on syndicated financings and tax-credit transactions (including LIHTC) is a plus.

3–5 years PQE in sophisticated finance transactions
Experience documenting, negotiating, closing and conducting diligence on secured and unsecured credit facilities
Experience with syndicated credit facilities and tax-credit finance (including LIHTC) preferred
Strong academic record, excellent written and oral communication, and attention to detail
Licensed or immediately eligible for licensure to practice law in North Carolina
