Experienced insurance claims professional sought for an Account Manager role within a national Insurance Liability team. This is a client-facing position responsible for end-to-end management of a portfolio of public liability claims, delivering timely liability assessment, reserve recommendations and resolution strategies.

The role involves regular engagement with insurers, brokers, insureds, claimants and service providers, proactive cost-reduction initiatives, and maintaining strong client relationships. The position is office-based with flexible/agile working within Australia and supports business development and account retention activities.

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
Experience managing public liability/insurance claims and assessing liability and quantum
Knowledge of insurance principles including the Insurance Contracts Act, Insurance Code of Practice and privacy requirements
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage a large portfolio of files, prioritise tasks and use claims management systems
