Apply in confidence →Join a leading international law firm's U.S. Agency Finance team handling complex cross‑border financing for infrastructure and energy projects in emerging markets. The role supports financings for development finance institutions, multilateral agencies, regional banks and export credit agencies across sectors such as energy, transportation, telecommunications and mining.
You will work on project and structured finance transactions (including loan participations, refinancings and workouts), coordinate with multi‑jurisdictional teams, and help prepare transaction documentation and client advice. The team regularly conducts work in English and routinely uses Spanish, Portuguese and/or French on cross‑border matters.
The position is open across multiple U.S. offices; candidates should be prepared to take on increasing responsibility on deals and collaborate with global colleagues on complex financings in emerging markets.
- Junior to mid‑level associate with experience in cross‑border project, structured or corporate finance at a major domestic or international law firm
- Familiarity with development finance institutions, multilaterals, export credit agencies or emerging markets transactions preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese and/or French strongly preferred
- Admission to a U.S. state bar where practicing, or eligibility for bar waiver
- Ability to manage deal documentation, coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams, and take on increasing transactional responsibility
