Senior operational role supporting the managing attorney in the firm’s New York office, focused on ensuring accurate court filings, calendaring, and procedural compliance for litigation matters. The role coordinates across offices to develop best practices for electronic filing and docket management.

Core responsibilities include reviewing filings for procedural accuracy, advising litigators on motion practice and court rules (federal and California state practice), managing e-filing and hard-copy filings, supervising other members of the Managing Attorney’s Office, and maintaining quality-control of docket and calendar entries.

  • J.D. required; bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a managing attorney or clerk’s office at a large law firm.
  • Familiarity with California and federal court systems, corresponding rules, and e-filing platforms (e.g., CM/ECF and California state systems).
  • Strong docketing/calendaring experience and proficiency with court databases and research tools.
  • Proven supervisory experience, excellent written and verbal communication, highly organized and able to manage shifting priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Admission to the California bar preferred.
