Apply in confidence →Leading international litigation team is seeking an Of Counsel with deep experience in product-liability matters to join one of its U.S. offices. The role emphasizes Daubert / Rule 702 motions practice for pharmaceutical and medical device disputes and is open to candidates across the firm's U.S. footprint.
The successful candidate will draft and edit briefs, motions, discovery responses and memoranda; work with experts; assist with depositions and fact development; supervise junior lawyers; and help shape case strategy. The role is hybrid with regular in-office presence and some flexibility for remote work.
Applicants must bring both litigation experience and a scientific background (MD, MPH, PharmD, epidemiology or similar) to handle technical, expert-driven work.
- JD and admission to practice in the jurisdiction where you apply (candidates admitted in New York encouraged to apply)
- 8+ years of litigation experience, with substantial time drafting briefs on Daubert / Rule 702 issues
- Science or clinical background (MD, MPH, PharmD, epidemiology or equivalent)
- Experience in products liability litigation; pharmaceutical/medical device experience preferred
- Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and experience supervising associates
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients and experts
