Associate, Business Restructuring & Reorganization — New York

Top-tier restructuring team seeks an associate to join its Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice in New York. The role involves creditor- and debtor-side chapter 11 work, out-of-court restructurings and distressed acquisitions across high-profile matters.

Candidates will work on liability management transactions and represent financial institutions, funds and other creditors as well as debtors in complex restructurings. Preference is for candidates able to be based in or near the New York office.

• Graduation years: law school class of 2019–2022
• Substantial experience on creditor- or borrower-side liability management transactions
• Familiarity with chapter 11 proceedings, cross-border restructurings and out-of-court workouts
• Experience with distressed-debt acquisitions and representing financial institutions or funds preferred
