Associate - Capital Markets - Washington, D.C.

We are seeking a mid-level associate to join a major law firm's Capital Markets practice in the Washington, D.C. office. The team advises on a full range of securities transactions and capital-raising structures for issuers, investors and banks across public and private markets.

The practice handles equity and debt offerings, high-yield and hybrid capital transactions, and complex cross-border financings, supported by a centralized D.C.-based regulatory and listings team. The role offers exposure to market-leading capital markets matters and collaboration across offices.

Ideal candidates will have meaningful corporate finance experience, strong drafting and transactional skills, and substantial time spent on capital markets or related debt-finance work (acquisition financings, syndicated loans or direct lending).

• 3–6 years' PQE in capital markets or corporate finance
• Significant experience on equity offerings, high-yield or hybrid capital transactions, or substantial debt-finance work (e.g., acquisition financings, syndicated term loans, direct lending)
• Proven transactional drafting and deal execution skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams and time zones
