Mid-Level Associate — Global Funds Practice

We are seeking mid-level associates to join a global funds team, with openings in New York, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco. The role focuses on retail/registered funds and permanent-capital investment vehicles.

Successful candidates will work on formation and the ongoing operation of vehicles such as business development companies (BDCs), registered closed-end funds and similar structures, and will advise on governance and compliance matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940.

• 2–5 years' relevant associate experience in funds or investment management
• Practical experience with formation and ongoing operation of permanent-capital retail investment vehicles (e.g., BDCs, registered closed-end funds)
• Experience advising fund boards on governance and compliance under the Investment Company Act of 1940
• Admission to the New York, D.C., or California bar
• Strong academic and professional credentials and excellent drafting and communication skills
