Associate, Capital Markets — Washington, DC

Leading capital markets team in Washington, D.C. is seeking a mid-level associate to work on a broad range of securities matters, including equity and debt offerings, high-yield and hybrid capital transactions, and related regulatory issues. The group acts for issuers, sponsors and underwriters across public and private capital-raising transactions.

The team is supported by a centralized Washington office of former regulators and experienced capital markets lawyers who provide real-time guidance on securities and listing matters. Successful candidates will join a collaborative, market-leading practice that handles complex cross-border and domestic transactions.

• 3–6 years post-qualification experience in capital markets or related corporate finance work
• Substantive experience on equity offerings, high-yield/hybrid capital transactions, or debt financings (acquisition financings, syndicated loans, or direct lending)
• Strong drafting, deal execution and client-facing skills; ability to work in fast-paced transactional matters
• Admission to practice in the U.S. (bar membership) or ability to obtain required authorizations
