Apply in confidence →Leading German practice seeks a construction-focused associate to join its Munich team. The role covers counselling and transaction work on architect, engineer and construction contracts, project support on large infrastructure and real estate programmes, and active involvement in disputes before state courts, arbitral tribunals and adjudication panels.
Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating HOAI, VOB/B and FIDIC-based contracts, claim and anti-claim management, coordination with procurement and public planning law, and advising on defects, delay and cost issues. You will also act as a client-facing project lawyer and support the use of LegalTech tools (e‑discovery, BIM contract modules).

- Qualified German lawyer (both Staatsexamina) with strong academic record
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in construction and architects' law
- Practical knowledge of VOB/B, HOAI and construction litigation; familiarity with FIDIC advantageous
- Experience with claim management, arbitration or court proceedings and confident client contact
- Analytical, commercially minded and comfortable working with project teams and technical stakeholders
