Senior associate-level role in a global full-service firm’s construction and engineering team, based in Edinburgh. The role focuses on non-contentious construction work supporting real estate development and major built-environment projects for national and international clients.

You will handle your own matters, work with colleagues across national and international teams, and provide practical, commercially focused advice on construction aspects of development projects. There is scope to contribute to team growth and to mentor more junior lawyers and trainees.

Qualified solicitor with approximately 2 years’ post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.
Strong technical experience on construction and engineering projects, including work with the JCT suite; NEC experience desirable.
Ability to manage own matters, provide pragmatic commercial advice, and support/mentor junior team members.
Excellent communication and client-service skills; organised, practical and able to work across national/international teams.
