Apply in confidence →Join a national construction practice that is expanding its construction disputes and building-safety offering. The role is open across multiple UK offices and will involve advising developers, contractors and professional advisors on complex remediation work, procurement strategies and high-value dispute resolution.
You will work on technical, multi-disciplinary matters arising from post-Grenfell building-safety law and policy, including claims and defences in court and arbitration, and collaborate with experts in fire engineering, architecture, surveying and project management. The team advises major housebuilders, public sector bodies and contractors across England & Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The position offers hands-on responsibility on litigation and remediation mandates while supporting growth of the national construction practice.
- Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in construction litigation
- Practical experience of construction disputes and (ideally) professional negligence matters
- Familiarity with building-safety issues, remediation procurement and related regulatory change
- Client-facing skills with the ability to develop business and work across multiple UK jurisdictions
- Strong attention to detail, good commercial awareness and a collaborative, technology-minded approach to case handling
