Associate — Consumer Warranty & Lemon Law, Los Angeles

Fast-growing consumer warranty team in a national AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an associate to join its Los Angeles litigation group. The team defends manufacturers and service providers in consumer warranty and lemon-law matters, handling both state and federal litigation and serving as trial and coordinating counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters.

The role involves drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings, preparing and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. You will work on complex product- and warranty-related claims alongside experienced litigators and contribute to client-facing strategies in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

This position is suitable for litigators with consumer warranty experience as well as strong civil litigators interested in developing a practice in warranty and product-related litigation. Competitive benefits are provided.

• Admission to the California bar.
• 1–7 years of civil litigation experience; experience defending consumer warranty or product-liability claims preferred.
• Familiarity with Song-Beverly Act, Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, state lemon laws, UCC, and consumer protection statutes preferred.
• Comfort drafting pleadings and discovery, briefing and arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions.
• Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced team setting.
