Associate — Corporate (Education)

Join a national corporate team with a market-leading education practice advising on domestic and cross-border M&A, joint ventures and collaborations across higher education, schools and further education. The role is open to candidates based in any regional UK office and will involve working with colleagues across the firm’s international network.

This is a hands-on transactional role handling varied deals in the education sector. You will support and lead elements of transactions, advise on regulatory and structural issues relevant to the sector, and contribute to business development activity for the team.

The team is collaborative and client-focused, offering structured development, cross-office exposure and opportunities to work on international matters while building a specialist sector practice.

• 2–8 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) with transactional corporate/M&A experience.
• Demonstrable interest and experience in the education sector (higher education preferred; schools and further education advantageous).
• Ability to manage multiple matters to tight deadlines and deliver strong client service.
• Team player with strong relationship-building skills; senior candidates should have experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers.
