Associates work on a broad slate of matters including venture and growth financings, primary and secondary investments, preferred equity financings, strategic and crossover investments, structured liquidity, M&A involving venture-backed companies, pre-IPO readiness, and cross-border private capital transactions. The role offers exposure to multidisciplinary work across M&A, private equity, capital markets, finance, tax, IP and regulatory teams.

This hiring opportunity is for mid-level to senior associates based in the Bay Area who want to build a market-leading private capital practice that combines high-growth tech and life sciences dealwork with the resources of a major global firm.

Approximately 3–7 years of relevant associate experience at a leading law firm
Experience with venture capital, growth equity, private company financings, emerging companies, private equity, or related corporate transactions
Excellent drafting, negotiation, project management and client-facing skills
Strong academic record, outstanding written and oral communication, and an entrepreneurial mindset
California bar admission or eligibility
