Join a national corporate team’s Future Energy group in Belfast, working on renewable and clean‑energy M&A. The role involves support on disposals, acquisitions, JVs, cooperation and profit‑share arrangements across technologies such as wind, solar, battery, AD, hydro and WtE.

You will work as part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team advising developers, investors and other sector participants on transaction execution. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include project managing deal workstreams, coordinating due diligence, drafting and negotiating ancillary documentation and assisting on headline transaction documents.

  • Qualified solicitor (SRA or Law Society registered) with 1–4 years PQE
  • Post‑qualification experience on clean energy or renewables M&A transactions (advisor experience from a city or regional firm preferred)
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, project‑management and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work collaboratively across specialist teams and to manage deadlines and client expectations
