Law firm seeks an Associate to join a Corporate/M&A team focused on Energy & Infrastructure in the Düsseldorf office. The team advises German and international investors and energy companies on transactions and project development driven by the energy transition.

Work will centre on deals and project work across grid/utility infrastructure, heat, hydrogen, battery storage and renewables, collaborating closely with colleagues from Corporate M&A and Asset Management.

The role offers early client contact, active involvement in transactions, structured onboarding and ongoing mentoring from senior lawyers in a collegial, international environment with flexible working arrangements.

Qualified German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) or equivalent; early-career candidates and those with initial transaction experience welcome
Strong academic background and excellent German and English drafting and oral skills
Interest in energy markets, project development and commercial transaction work
Team-player attitude, client-facing capability and willingness to work across practice teams
