Associate — Corporate M&A

Mid-level corporate M&A associate role with a national US firm. The team handles a range of transactional matters, with a focus on M&A and private equity work across industries.

Successful candidates will work on deal execution from diligence through closing, draft transaction documents, and support senior lawyers on complex transactions. The role is open to candidates based in several US offices, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Raleigh, and Winston-Salem.

The team offers a collaborative environment and exposure to sophisticated, high-profile transactions.

• At least 3 years' transactional experience (M&A/private equity preferred) at a mid‑to‑large law firm
• Proven ability to draft M&A transaction documents and manage due diligence
• Experience managing transactions to closing and coordinating multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with corporate governance and federal securities law issues
• Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills
