Senior associate role within a global debt finance team advising on syndicated lending, leveraged finance, refinancing and structured finance transactions. The team advises borrowers, lenders and other financial institutions on the negotiation and documentation of complex financing arrangements and related security structures.

The role involves leading and managing complex transactions, taking responsibility for drafting and negotiating key financing documents, running due diligence, advising on structuring and regulatory issues, and supporting post-transaction matters as needed. You will work closely with partners and senior colleagues and contribute to knowledge-sharing and process improvement within the practice.

This position offers the opportunity to build client relationships, take on significant transactional responsibility and coach more junior lawyers within an established international finance practice.

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience in debt finance or banking transactions
  • Proven experience on syndicated loans, leveraged finance and/or structured finance matters
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills on financing and security documents
  • Ability to lead complex transactions, manage due diligence and coordinate cross-border teams
  • Client-facing experience with demonstrable relationship and business development skills; experience mentoring junior lawyers
