Associate, Defence Insurance — Belfast

Join an established defence insurance team handling a broad mix of litigation including motor, disease, employers' liability and public liability claims. This role is based in the Belfast office and involves regular national client engagement.

You will work in a collaborative, supportive team on a varied caseload, with regular court attendance and opportunities to take responsibility for case management, drafting and client-facing work. The team is expanding and offers structured learning and development in a flexible, hybrid working environment.

• Qualified solicitor with approximately 2–5 years PQE.
• Experience in personal injury litigation; defence insurance experience an advantage.
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload, preparing reports, and meeting client SLAs and MI requirements.
• Proven courtroom experience, including attending hearings and pre-trial meetings.
• Strong communicative skills for client contact and collaborative team working.
