Apply in confidence →Join a specialist counter-fraud litigation team based in Belfast, handling a mix of pre‑litigated and litigated technical insurance claims. The team works collaboratively with clients, agencies and specialist fraud teams across the UK and Ireland to investigate and manage suspected fraud matters.
The role involves managing a caseload across County Court and High Court jurisdictions (motor, credit‑hire and casualty fraud matters), attending courts (in person or remotely) for advocacy, and acting as a client contact with appropriate supervision. The post-holder will also contribute to business development, training and cross‑team knowledge sharing.
- Practising Solicitor with 0–5 years PQE; strong litigation background preferred.
- Experience or interest in fraud and insurance disputes; knowledge of motor and credit‑hire claims advantageous.
- Familiarity with litigious processes and procedures in Northern Ireland and comfortable attending County and High Court hearings.
- Proven investigative and analytical skills, confident negotiator and effective communicator.
- Ability to manage own files, meet SLAs and financial targets; collegiate team player who supports knowledge sharing.
- Willingness to support marketing/business development activity and meet continuing professional development requirements.
