A dedicated role within a national insurance practice handling property subsidence matters. You will join a specialised subsidence team working on a mix of claims (tree root damage, tree failures, knotweed and related property damage) with a focus on pragmatic, early resolution and subrogated recoveries.

The post-holder will manage their own caseload under supervision, engage with insurer clients and other stakeholders, and contribute to account management and business development activities. Training and support will be provided — prior subsidence experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (or experienced paralegal moving into fee-earning role).
Litigation experience with competence running files to deadline and bringing matters proactively to conclusion.
Strong negotiation and written/oral communication skills with attention to detail.
Commercial perspective on legal issues, with timely file billing and financial rigour.
Organised, able to prioritise workload and work as part of a team; comfortable supporting client account management and basic data reporting.
