Associate — Direct Lending (New York)

Mid-level associate opportunity with a leading global finance practice in New York focused on alternative investments and direct lending. The role will sit on the transactional lending team and involve drafting, negotiating and executing credit agreements and related documentation for private credit and direct-lending transactions.

The team advises investment managers and lenders on a range of fund- and sponsor-led financings. You will work on deal execution across the lifecycle, collaborating with partners and across practices on complex credit structures and documentation.

Competitive compensation is available; the current hiring range is noted at $310,000–$435,000.

• Mid- to senior-level associate with demonstrable experience in direct lending or private credit transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills on loan agreements, security documents and ancillary transaction documents.
• Comfortable working on fund- and sponsor-side financings in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction preferred.
