Associate, Emerging Companies & Venture Capital — Seattle

Seeking a junior to midlevel corporate associate to join a busy Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) practice in Seattle. The role provides hands-on experience on venture financings and corporate matters for startups, founders, and venture investors.

You'll support seed through later-stage equity financings, assist on M&A and secondary transactions, draft and negotiate financing and governance documents, and collaborate with specialists across technology, privacy, and related practice areas. The team emphasizes mentorship, early responsibility, and cross-practice collaboration.

• 2–4 years of law-firm experience in emerging companies, venture capital, or corporate transactional work
• Experience with venture financings, startup formation, and general corporate matters
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, team environment
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar
