Solicitor-level employment lawyer sought to join a busy Employment & Pensions team in Birmingham. The role is a substantive, fee-earning position offering early responsibility on a varied caseload for commercial, public sector and not-for-profit clients.

Day-to-day work includes advisory matters, drafting contracts and policies, managing tribunal claims, supporting transactional employment work and handling data subject requests. There are opportunities to contribute to thought leadership and client events and to develop sector-specialist expertise.

Qualified solicitor with approximately 1–5 years' PQE in employment law
Experience advising on strategic employment issues and managing tribunal claims
Strong drafting skills (contracts, policies, disciplinary/grievance documentation)
Excellent written and verbal communication, commercial awareness and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and build long-term client relationships
