Apply in confidence →Top-tier international firm seeks a mid-level associate to join a busy energy & infrastructure M&A practice in Houston. The role focuses on representing private equity sponsors, project developers, utilities and infrastructure owners/operators on complex acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and related strategic transactions.
The position requires hands-on deal execution across the full transaction lifecycle, including leading bid processes, negotiating definitive documents, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams and supporting project-finance-related aspects of infrastructure deals. This is a good role for an associate who enjoys sophisticated, cross-border and cross-practice work combining corporate M&A and project finance.
- 4–7 years' post-qualification transactional experience (private equity M&A preferred)
- Demonstrated experience representing PE sponsors and other energy/infrastructure clients on acquisitions, divestitures and JVs
- Experience with project finance and infrastructure transactions, including bid-to-close deal management
- Strong drafting, negotiation and project-management skills; ability to work across teams and disciplines
