Apply in confidence →Growing energy & infrastructure practice seeks a mid-level corporate associate to join the M&A team in Houston. The role focuses on private equity-backed and sponsor-driven transactions across energy, power, renewables and infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities include advising sponsors, developers, funds and infrastructure owners on complex acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and related strategic transactions, and supporting transaction execution from bid through closing. The position suits an associate who enjoys cross-disciplinary work that combines corporate M&A with project-finance aspects.
- 4–7 years' PQE in private equity M&A, with demonstrable experience on energy or infrastructure deals
- Experience representing sponsors, funds, developers or utilities on acquisitions, divestitures, JVs and related transactions
- Familiarity with project-finance structures and coordinated bid-to-close transaction work
- Strong drafting, negotiating and deal-management skills
- J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
