Senior associate opportunity in a major international firm's Houston energy team, focusing on upstream, midstream and broader oil & gas transactional work. The role supports domestic and cross-border acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, project development, infrastructure and other complex commercial arrangements across the oil & gas value chain.

Successful candidates will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on sophisticated deals, managing transaction workstreams, negotiating and drafting key commercial and transactional documents, and providing pragmatic, business-oriented advice to clients and counterparties. The team routinely acts for energy companies, private equity sponsors and infrastructure investors.

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active Texas Bar membership or eligibility to waive into Texas.
At least 3 years of law firm experience focused on oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or natural resources transactions.
Proven experience with M&A, acquisitions & divestitures (A&D), joint ventures, project development, farmout/farmin and joint operating agreements.
Strong drafting, negotiation, issue-spotting and project-management skills; comfortable working directly with clients and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
