Work will include drafting pleadings, handling discovery, preparing motions, participating in hearings, conducting technical legal research, and supporting testimony development.
Candidates with familiarity or interest in the electric industry, eminent domain issues, and regulation by state and federal agencies (for example, state utility commissions or FERC) are especially welcome. The role offers hands‑on courtroom and regulatory process exposure in a team-oriented practice.
- Juris Doctor and 1–5 years of litigation experience (classes ~2021–2025 encouraged)
- Demonstrated experience with discovery, pleadings, motions, hearings, and legal research
- Familiarity or interest in electric utilities, eminent domain, and regulatory bodies (e.g., state utility commissions, FERC) a plus
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills and the ability to work collaboratively on complex matters
