Seeking an associate to join a substantial healthcare and medical malpractice practice in the St. Louis office of a national AmLaw firm. The role focuses on defending healthcare providers in state and federal litigation and administrative matters across a variety of clinical specialties.

The team handles high-volume medical-malpractice and general-liability work; the successful candidate will support all phases of litigation including discovery, expert workup, depositions and trial preparation. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced and offers exposure to complex healthcare matters alongside experienced litigators.

Admission to practice in Missouri.
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in medical malpractice and/or general liability (premises, products, transportation).
Experience taking/defending expert depositions and trial preparation preferred.
Strong writing, analytical skills and ability to manage multiple matters.
Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
