Apply in confidence →Seeking a junior- to mid-level IP associate to join a multi-office US practice supporting life‑sciences and biotech clients on patent prosecution and portfolio matters. The role focuses on data-driven innovations across computational biology, including next‑generation sequencing, precision diagnostics, digital health, and AI‑assisted drug discovery.
Positions are open across several US offices (including Boston, Chicago, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C.). The team combines scientific depth and technology experience to translate complex research into strategic patent filing and prosecution work for biotech, pharmaceutical and digital‑health clients.
- 2–4 years patent prosecution experience in computational biology / life‑sciences technologies
- Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, or related life‑sciences discipline
- USPTO registration (or commitment to prepare for, take and pass the patent bar within 12 months of hire)
- Active state bar membership for the office to which you apply
- Excellent research, writing, communication and organizational skills
