A permanent, full-time associate role in Melbourne for an experienced commercial, IP and technology lawyer. You'll join a well-established IP & Technology team embedded within a broader Corporate & Commercial practice, working on both advisory and contentious matters across trademarks, copyright, IP commercialisation and technology contracts.

You will work closely with senior lawyers on matters for public-sector and private clients across industries such as infrastructure, financial services, FMCG and agribusiness.

3–4 years post-admission (PQE) experience in commercial, IP and technology law
Experience on both advisory and contentious IP matters (trade marks, copyright, licensing, enforcement)
Experience drafting and negotiating technology agreements (SaaS, software licensing, procurement) and commercial contracts
Previous experience in a top- or mid-tier law firm or specialist IP/IT practice preferred; public-sector matters or government secondments highly regarded
Strong technical attention to detail, commercial awareness and collaborative team approach
