Join a Band 1 ranked Intellectual Property team in Melbourne, working across contentious, regulatory and commercial IP matters. The role involves close collaboration with patent and trade mark attorneys and other lawyers across the firm to advise on the full lifecycle of IP assets.

Day-to-day work will include contentious and non-contentious matters (patents, trade marks, copyright, designs, trade secrets, anti-counterfeiting), IP licensing and transactional work, portfolio management, oppositions and enforcement. The team offers hybrid working (c.60% in-office) with flexible arrangements available.

Experience in Australian private practice IP teams; in-house or international experience also valued.
Exposure to a range of IP work including contentious patents, trade marks, copyright, confidential information, designs, licensing and M&A-related IP work.
Experience supervising and delegating to junior lawyers, with strong time management and organisational skills.
Excellent drafting and oral communication skills and a commitment to mentoring and professional development.
