Apply in confidence →We are seeking a litigation associate to join a busy IP & Technology practice in the San Francisco office of a large international law firm. The role focuses on technology-driven disputes across intellectual property, internet law, privacy/data security, and complex commercial litigation involving emerging technologies.
Typical matters include litigation involving artificial intelligence and copyright, trade secret and trademark disputes, crypto/blockchain and token-related commercial disputes, privacy and data-breach litigation under state statutes, and speech/platform-related claims. The team works for a mix of national and technology-sector clients on high‑stakes, cross‑border matters.
The firm offers competitive compensation and a full benefits package. Applicants must be authorized to practice in California and prepared to take ownership of files and litigation tasks from drafting to discovery and motion practice.
- 2–6 years of litigation experience at a mid‑to‑large law firm or equivalent in‑house litigation experience
- Experience drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting legal research, and managing discovery
- Demonstrated interest or experience in technology/Internet law, privacy/data protection, AI, crypto/blockchain, and IP litigation
- Strong academic record, excellent writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage matters independently
- Must be in good standing with the California Bar
