Associate — Liability (Insurance), Melbourne

Join a global insurance defence team in Melbourne as an Associate within the casualty/liability practice. You will manage a varied caseload including casualty, product and public liability matters, property damage and Victorian WorkCover recovery claims, working in a hybrid, full-time role.

The role offers exposure to high-quality insurer-led work and opportunities to develop client relationships, contribute to business development and deliver client training. You will receive mentorship and clear progression paths within an international network.

• 2–4 years PQE in defendant litigation with a focus on casualty/liability claims
• Experience or exposure to property damage and Victorian WorkCover matters desirable
• Proven ability to manage a personal caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian personal injury law and excellent client-facing skills
• Collaborative team player with an interest in business development and good academic credentials
