Associate — Litigation (AI focus) — Chicago

Senior- to mid-level associate opportunity in a busy Chicago litigation team for attorneys who make AI central to their practice. The role is for candidates with 1–6 years' litigation experience who actively use and experiment with large language models and other AI-driven legal tools to increase productivity and reshape workflows.

You will work on fast-moving, complex matters across litigation lifecycle tasks — drafting briefs, managing discovery and document review, preparing for depositions and hearings, working with experts, and supervising more junior team members. The team encourages creative, responsible deployment of AI and provides flexibility to develop new applications and integrations.

• Juris Doctor and 1–6 years' litigation experience.
• Demonstrated, hands-on daily proficiency with AI tools (LLMs, AI-assisted legal research, document-review platforms).
• Technical curiosity and AI literacy — follows model and tool developments and can assess capabilities and limits.
• Sound judgment in overseeing AI output and ensuring accuracy of work product.
• Strong writing, oral advocacy, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Strong academic credentials and membership in the home‑office bar required.
