Growing national litigation group seeks an associate on an alternative hiring track to support its legacy liability practice across U.S. offices. The role focuses on defense work in legacy exposures, including asbestos-related matters, and involves drafting motions, pleadings, discovery work, and client-facing correspondence.

Ideal candidates will have excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, and communication skills. This is an opportunity to join a high-volume defense litigation team and develop expertise in legacy liability litigation strategy and case management.

For applicants based in IL, MA, NJ, NY, CA, or WA the listed base salary range is $125,000 to $140,000; final compensation will be determined based on experience, office, and other factors. The firm offers a standard benefits package and hires associates on an at-will basis.

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Admission to the relevant state bar (or eligibility)
Alternative-track or entry-level associates encouraged to apply
Strong legal research and writing skills; excellent communication and organizational abilities
Interest or experience in legacy liability/asbestos defense preferred
