Senior litigation team in a major international law firm is seeking an associate with 2–5 years of commercial litigation experience to join its Los Angeles office. The role offers early responsibility on significant, often cross-border commercial disputes including contract disputes, class actions, business torts and arbitration-related matters.

The successful candidate will draft and argue dispositive briefs, manage discovery and document review, prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and hearings, and play a central role in trial and appellate work. The position involves client-facing work, collaboration across domestic and international teams, and opportunities to develop subject-matter expertise in related areas such as antitrust, IP and regulatory investigations.

The team values strong writing, analytical rigor, and an ability to operate both independently and as part of lean, high-performing teams. 2–5 years of civil/commercial litigation experience at a law firm
Admission to the bar and in good standing
Excellent legal research, drafting and oral advocacy skills
Experience with discovery, depositions, trial preparation and appellate briefing
Strong client service orientation, teamwork, and professional presence
