Associate – M&A (Energy & Infrastructure), New York

Experienced corporate associate sought for a New York-based energy & infrastructure M&A practice. The role focuses on representing private equity sponsors, project developers and infrastructure owners on complex acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic transactions across power, renewables and broader infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities include leading and supporting deal execution from bid process through closing, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams, and handling aspects of project-finance related transactional work. This role suits an associate who enjoys sophisticated, transaction-focused work that blends corporate M&A and project finance.

• 4–7 years' post-qualification transactional experience (PQE)
• Substantive private equity M&A experience, preferably with energy & infrastructure matters
• Experience on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and project-finance-related transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation and deal-management skills; ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
