Join a large, full-service real estate team advising on complex development and construction matters. The role sits in a fast-growing construction group acting for developers, investors, funders and occupiers on high-value and high-profile projects.

The position focuses on non-contentious construction work: drafting and negotiating building contracts, consultants' appointments, collateral warranties, development and forward funding documentation, and supporting construction aspects of real estate, finance and corporate transactions. You will work closely with specialists across planning, finance, tax and dispute resolution to deliver practical, commercial outcomes.

There is an emphasis on commercial awareness, use of technology and sustainability in construction projects; the team encourages proactive business development and collaborative cross-practice work.

1-3 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law.
Qualified and trained in a reputable City or large national law firm (or equivalent experience).
Practical experience drafting and negotiating building contracts, consultants' appointments, collateral warranties and related construction documentation.
Familiarity with standard forms of contract (JCT and NEC) and common procurement routes.
Experience supporting construction elements of real estate transactions, financings or forward funding arrangements advantageous.
Strong drafting, negotiation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage workload and communicate with senior stakeholders.
