The role is open across several U.S. offices and will work closely with transactional and counseling teams to provide full-service IP support to corporate clients.
Typical responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing patent opinion letters, providing patent counseling, and conducting patent-focused due diligence for transactions. The team values collaboration and strong client‑facing skills.
- Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (life sciences, biotech, pharma, chemistry, materials science) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of patent prosecution and life‑sciences IP experience.
- Active U.S. patent bar registration.
- Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing opinion letters, and conducting due diligence.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively across practices.
- Prior firm or in‑house experience in patent prosecution preferred.
