Opportunity for an experienced qualified lawyer to join an in‑house General Counsel & Risk team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract based in London. The role supports regulatory compliance, professional conduct and firm‑wide risk management across multiple jurisdictions.

You will advise lawyers and business services teams on regulatory and practice‑related matters, draft and review client and third‑party terms, and help design and deliver risk and compliance training and awareness programmes. The role involves pragmatic, risk‑based decision making and regular liaison with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualified solicitor with solid City or private practice experience.
Practical knowledge of legal regulatory and professional conduct issues.
Strong judgement, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
Experience delivering training and clear written advice; able to work to deadlines.
Curiosity about technology and emerging tools (e.g. AI) and how they affect compliance.
