A nationally recognised catastrophic loss and personal injury team is seeking an ambitious NQ–5PQE associate to join its Manchester office. The team acts for a broad range of insurer clients on complex, high-value defendant and claimant work.

The role involves running a multi-track personal injury/catastrophic loss caseload, assisting on higher-value matters, advising on liability, quantum and litigation strategy, drafting court documents, and leading settlement negotiations. The role is hybrid; attendance in the Manchester office is expected at least two days per week.

3+ years' PQE, preferably with defender litigation experience in Personal Injury/Catastrophic Loss, Motor, RTAs, Employers' Liability or Public Liability
Experience of handling high-value files (£1m+), either own files or as second on complex matters
Strong litigation drafting, advocacy readiness and commercial judgement
Confident communicator with ability to build and maintain client relationships and work to deadlines
